Army Basic Training Journal
Known as a nice guy,My MOS is 31B which is Military Police everyone tells me I should have gone into the Army as a technician due to my PC and web skills but I rather do something different then working in a room I rather be "out" there and something thrilling. I'm been told I should have been a medic also...well to tell ya I smiled in my platoon picture..

I'm a very nice guy, everyone was shocked when I joined the military and people kept saying you're not the mean type and killing type...Albert. Anyways I always wanted to be in the Army since I was a kid. Thing is not alot of people are joining and recruiting numbers are a low. I'm thinking who else would do it. So I did it for self and thought of others so they can enjoy life..if I go to Iraq and then it's my duty to do so. now I'm here a Soldier now and this is my story in Basic Training...

I'm 19 too and i want to join the army just like you expect i'm living in europe but i think it doesn't matter.

Hey I read all of your posts. I really want to go to basic but im on the officer route right now and im not sure I wanna do the SMP prgm. But im glad your BCT XO was cool. Prb. was a ROTC guy like me hehe. Oh to rply to sean, his mos is 31 B which is military police.
